China and the Netherlands have been successful in business ever since the Middle Ages. Both countries are renowned worldwide for their qualities as trading nations. The Dutch are not called the "Chinese of Europe" for nothing. Trading runs through the veins of both cultures. 

NV REWIN West-Brabant (a regional state-subsidised development company) and CEEEA have entered into a collaborative partnership aimed at encouraging Chinese companies to settle in this part of the Netherlands . A partnership that has a reinforcing effect on both sides because of the differences in backgrounds, whereby available knowledge of the European market can be combined with that of the Chinese market.

Centrally located in the heart of Europe between the two large mainports Antwerp and Rotterdam, West Brabant is an ideal base for operations for Chinese companies. For example from the Chinese Business Centre in the city of Breda.

The Jilin Machinery and Equipment Company and the Jilin Pharmaceutical Wit Group have already decided to start operating from the Chinese Business Centre. And although this is only a beginning; as the famous Chinese philosopher Confucius once said: "A journey round the world begins with the first step."

In the coming years REWIN and HUMSUN hope to attract many Chinese companies and that in future years the West Brabant region will become a dynamic centre for numerous Chinese organisations.
